This set-it-and-forget-it meal combines lean ground turkey with kidney beans and a medley of vegetables in a rich, spicy tomato base.
Let your slow cooker do the work, and come home to a comforting meal that’s perfect for chilly evenings or game day gatherings.

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 onion diced
- 2 bell peppers diced
- 2 cans 15 oz each kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can 28 oz crushed tomatoes
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 2 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tbsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
- Optional toppings: shredded cheese sour cream, chopped cilantro, sliced jalapenos
Instructions
- Brown ground turkey in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Transfer turkey to the slow cooker.
- Add all remaining ingredients to the slow cooker and stir to combine.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
- Serve hot with optional toppings.
