Tender strips of lean beef are stir-fried with crisp broccoli florets in a rich, savory sauce.
This dish proves that you don’t have to sacrifice flavor for nutrition, offering a protein-packed meal that’s both satisfying and guilt-free.

Ingredients
- 1 lb lean beef sirloin sliced thinly
- 4 cups broccoli florets
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tbsp ginger grated
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- Sesame seeds for garnish optional
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, and half the garlic and ginger. Add beef and marinate for 30 minutes.
- In another bowl, mix cornstarch and water to create a slurry.
- Heat oil in a large wok or skillet over high heat.
- Add remaining garlic and ginger, stir-fry for 30 seconds.
- Add beef (discarding marinade) and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned.
- Add broccoli and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until crisp-tender.
- Pour in the cornstarch slurry and cook until sauce thickens.
- Garnish with sesame seeds if desired and serve.
