Grilled Tofu Steaks with Chimichurri Sauce

Ingredients
For the tofu:
- 1 block 14 oz extra-firm tofu
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
For the chimichurri sauce:
- 1 cup fresh parsley finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Press tofu for 30 minutes to remove excess moisture.
- Cut tofu into 4 steaks.
- Mix olive oil, soy sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Marinate tofu in this mixture for 15 minutes.
- For chimichurri, mix all sauce ingredients in a bowl.
- Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
- Grill tofu steaks for 4-5 minutes per side until grill marks appear.
- Serve tofu steaks topped with chimichurri sauce.
