Ingredients
  

  • 6 mini pita breads split in half
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce or marinara sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup mini pepperoni slices
  • 1/4 cup diced bell peppers
  • 2 tablespoons sliced black olives
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish
  • Red pepper flakes optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Arrange pita halves on prepared baking sheet, cut side up.
  • Spread about 1 tablespoon pizza sauce on each pita half.
  • Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly over sauce.
  • Add desired toppings - pepperoni, bell peppers, and olives.
  • Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder.
  • Bake for 8-12 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly and edges are golden brown.
  • Remove from oven and let cool for 2-3 minutes.
  • Garnish with fresh basil leaves and red pepper flakes if using.
  • Serve immediately while warm and crispy.
